The ancient Jesuit missions of Chiquitos in the department of Santa Cruz (1691-1767) and those of Moxos in the department of Beni (1681-1767) are some of the main treasures of the regional and national cultural heritage. In 1990, UNESCO awarded the title of World Cultural Heritage to six towns in Chiquitos as "living towns", because unlike other ancient Jesuit towns that only have ruins left, in Chiquitos their beautiful churches, musical scores, customs, clothing, festivals, ceremonies, instrument-making, and in many of them the musical tradition are still preserved.
This tour perfectly includes visits to unique churches of the Jesuit missions in Chiquitos such as; San Ignacio de Velasco, San Rafael, and San José de Chiquitos, which encompass a vast history, diversity, and culture.

- Travel across the Chiquitanas plains heading to San Javier (3 ½ hrs.), a beautiful colonial town with its stunning church designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Continue through open savannas and forests to the Santa Rita weaving community.
- Proceed to San Ignacio de Velasco (3 hours) and visit its church during Mass.
- Stay at the Hotel La Mision.
- Included: Accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Depart for Santa Ana (1 hour) to admire the unique church purely constructed by indigenous people and mestizos, despite being initiated by the Jesuits.
- Continue to San Miguel (1 hour) and then to San Rafael (40 min.). Visit their churches, also designated as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
- In the afternoon, head to the town of Concepción (3 hours), the largest missionary center.
- Stay at the Gran Hotel Concepción.

- Visit the church of Concepción.
- Return to Santa Cruz (5 ½ hrs.) and transfer to your Hotel Camino Real Santa Cruz.
