  • Depart from Santa Cruz to Samaipata (120 km – 3 hours).
  • From Samaipata, travel to the ruins of El Fuerte, offering breathtaking views of sub-Andean nature.
  • Upon reaching the ruins of El Fuerte, explore South America's most significant pre-Hispanic example of rock architecture, declared a Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
  • Next, visit the city of Samaipata, touring the museum and wandering around the city.
  • Conclude the day at El Pueblito Resort, where dinner is served and you'll stay overnight.

  • Embark on a 2-hour hike in this magnificent area before returning to Samaipata.
  • Continue your journey with a visit to Serranía Volcanes (1.5 hours). You'll also explore Refugio Volcanes, nestled deep in a valley surrounded by tropical forests and clear waterfalls.
  • Note: Permissible entry times are from 09:30 to 16:00.
  • Venture through interpretive trails, appreciating the rich diversity of orchids and bromeliads. You'll also have the chance to spot various animals.
  • Spend the night at Refugio Volcanes, where dinner will be provided.
